"Everyone is ‘frozen in time’ relying on the fiction their story is proof truth is false."

Frozen in Time

I call the work I do “The Recovery Process,” based on the realization that truth exists and that most of us fill time pretending it’s possible to prove truth is false. The truth is, truth is absolute, which means there is no way to prove truth is false. When you wake up, what comes into focus is that time displays how you fill time defending the fiction it’s possible to prove truth is false. What comes into focus next is the realization that almost everyone fills time defending the fiction it’s possible to prove truth is false. We are stuck in a delusion, and suffering goes with defending the fiction its possible to prove truth is false.

To be awake is to be one with the truth, no longer stuck in time trying to prove truth is false. Once you reconnect with the truth, everyone becomes immediately transparent: there is the truth, and how they all fill time defending the fiction they can prove truth is false. Once you identify how you fill time trying to prove truth is false, as if that’s possible, everyone displays the intensity they bring to the fiction it’s possible to prove truth is false. Since there are only so many ways to engage in that parody, everywhere you look you see more of the same template we all share in common. Your ‘war on truth’ reminds me of my ‘war on truth.’ Everywhere you look, that is what there is to witness.

Because no one can prove truth is false, everyone displays the parody they reiterate, over and over again, based on the fiction repetition will finally prove truth is false. Everyone counts on the story they occupy to prove truth is false. The story isn’t who we are; it’s who we pretend to be to defend the fiction repetition of story will eventually prove truth is false.

Everyone is ‘frozen in time,’ relying on the fiction their story is proof truth is false. Every day is “Ground Hog Day,” which features us defending the fiction story will finally prove truth is false. Irony includes the fact truth features us ‘counting on story’ to prove truth is false, as if that’s possible. Humor includes the fact truth includes us using story to prove truth is false, which is not only not possible, it underscores the origin of comedy. We are all in the stream, wondering why we are all wet!

Story gives the self something to do in the course of time, like a “lifetime.” Story provides the setting for the self to ‘wage war with truth,’ based on the assumption the self you occupy represents you accurately. Everyone displays with story and self the drama they occupy to defend the fiction it’s possible to prove truth is false.

Because truth is absolute, pretending it’s possible with story and self to prove truth is false is a circular, redundant, comedy. Those who suspect this is true, laugh all the time; after all, what makes us funny is our level of commitment to the fiction story plus self is sufficient to prove truth is false. The option to defect from who we are, and can only be, is zero, which means time features us engaged in a parody with limited insight into the fact that’s how we fill time. Time provides the context for this parody. No one can prove truth is false, and time accurately displays our determination to prove that’s possible.

Suffering is the price we pay for pursuing a non-existent goal. Suffering expands the more we count on story plus self to prove truth is false. The last thing we want to know is that the option to prove truth is false is zero. It explains the origin of all anger. We live in a bubble of grudge, sometimes simmering in the background, and sometimes raging in the foreground, looking for someone to blame for our shared predicament. We are all in the same boat, pretending the boat we are in doesn’t exist. We can’t even share the comfort of knowing your dilemma is my dilemma.

The goal of “The Recovery Process” is to assist clients to bring truth into focus, so they can identify how they fill time stuck in the fiction it’s possible to prove truth is false. The process illuminates the connection between truth, trying to prove truth is false, and universal suffering. Once you wake up, you have compassion for everyone, including your ‘self.’ Peace of mind exists. Everyone is eligible to experience that outcome. It happens exactly as fast as you drop the fiction it’s possible to prove truth is false.
